Kingston International Academy, affiliated with CBSE is located on the outskirts of Vellore in a serene campus conducive for learning. Our school lives up to the motto “Educate Empower Enlighten”.
Our school has spacious and well-ventilated classrooms with state-of-the-art laboratories to kindle the scientific curiosity of children.
School is the second home for young minds. Keeping this in mind, we at Kingston International Academy have an excellent group of teachers who ensure the progress and safety of each and every child. We have trained faculty who are offered constant training to get themselves updated in their respective fields. We also try to integrate ICT into our teaching-learning process.
The best teaching-learning process happens only when the learner and the learned take ownership of learning. Our goal is to inspire our students and teachers to take up responsibility for their learning by motivating them to inquire, explore, reflect, and set the main focus towards their goals and help in achieving them.
Our school not only provides academic excellence, on par but also gives importance to co-curricular activities that ensure holistic development of the students. Some of the activities worth mentioning are: Winter Camp, Robotics & Lego, Skating, and Silambam.
In order to develop a healthy competition, we have divided the students into four houses namely Helios, Demeter, Zeus, and Poseidon named after Greek Gods representing the elements of nature. Children are involved in various competitions on behalf of these houses thereby imparting team spirit and sportsmanship. It creates a platform for independent learning and the mistakes made in the process are considered as opportunities to learn.
India is a country of culture and traditions. We at Kingston International Academy celebrate festivals of all religions to instill the value of respect and tolerance among our future generations. We also hold food carnivals and offer the proceeds we get to the poor and marginalized section of the society through social outreach programmes, therefore awakening a sense of realization among the students. As a school, we understand our responsibility towards the development of every student, and every decision that we make is made, keeping in mind, the well-being of the child and the society.
Kingston International Academy is equipped with smart classrooms to enhance the teaching and learning process. During the pandemic, we were able to provide remote learning. With all the facilities we offer, we can confidently say that our students are resilient, have a keen sense of curiosity and experimentation.
