Examination

Central Board of Secondary Education is the most popular board of education taught in public and private schools under the Government of India.

The Central Board of Secondary Education follows a uniform assessment scheme of two semesters. To prepare the students for the Class 10th Board Examination, the scheme also implements a uniform system of assessment, semester examinations, and report cards from Class VI. Under this scheme, periodic examinations are held and students are marked for notebook submission, classroom participation, and maintenance.

Under the new system, periodic assessment is conducted. Students will also be given marks for notebook submission and maintenance. Co-scholastic activities will also be taken into account, grades will be given out for factors such as regularity, participation, output, teamwork, health and physical education (including yoga and martial arts).

Students are graded based on the following factors

  1. Regularity
  2. Participation
  3. Output
  4. Teamwork
  5. Health and Physical Education (includes yoga and martial arts)
  6. Co-curricular Activities
